Head of Performance

Coach - Consultant - Instructor

I am an ambitious, proactive and innovative Head of Performance, Assistant and Fitness Coach with a UEFA A License, Master’s degree in Sport Science and currently completing a Master in Business Administration (MBA).

In the past 15 years, I lived and had different coaching roles in domestic and international football in 9 countries (Belgium, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Russia, Cyprus, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and UK) across 3 continents (Europe, Asia and Oceania), in Men's and Women's Football.

I’m proud to have been part of teams that achieved multiple goals like winning the Championship & Supercup and qualification for the Champions League with KRC Genk (2010-2011), being part of the qualification (2012-2013) of Iran for the World Cup 2014, winning the FNL Championship and promotion to the Russian Premier League with Krylia Sovetov Samara (2014-2015).

Working in the fastest growing sport in the world as Head of Performance at Chelsea FC Women was one of my best experiences on and off the pitch with winning 5 trophies (consecutive League winners, consecutive Cup winners and Community Shield winners) & Champions League finalist (2019-2021)!

About myself

I consider myself as a lifelong student of the game and remain committed to my own personal and professional development. I like to contribute to state-of-the-art processes to create sustainable competitive advantage in winning environments.

Over the past 15 years, I have created my own concept: ‘Team behind the team behind the team’. I love to travel the world to attend courses and to meet coaches & experts.

That's how I’ve build an international network of experts who keep me up-to-date with the latest information (Periodisation, Innovation, Testing, Monitoring, Strength Training, Injury Prevention, Nutrition, Analysis, Recovery, Wellbeing, Rehab, Psychology, Menstrual Cycle Support and Women’s Health).

The capacity to learn is a gift, the ability to learn is a skill, the willingness to learn is a choice! #lifelonglearning
